Meta Kaolin
Meta kaolin exhibits pozzolanic properties, meaning it reacts with calcium hydroxide in the presence of water to form additional cementitious compounds. By replacing a portion of the cement with metakaolin, the overall heat generation during the hydration process is reduced, minimising the risk of thermal cracking and improving the long-term durability of the concrete.
